Task Analysis: The task analysis is just a way of looking at the possible options or things to consider, in this case I will use the example from the OCR 2000 syllabus p43. A portable Metronome for a small musical group. A metronome is a machine that produces a pulsed output, such as a beat to help keep the timing of something. A similar product would be the beat produced while doing the beep test in PE.

These are essential parts of the beginning of the project so decisions can be made.
